Accounting Fundamentals Course Instructions

To collaborate and network with other students in your course, join the Consortia Accounting Community. To join the community and the study group space for your course click this link: (ex: Accounting Fundamentals). The community is an extra free resource to support your educational journey. You can also download the app for access to the community from the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).

You Should Have Received An Email with a Course Code 

DO NOT REGISTER THE COURSE ACCESS CODE UNTIL YOU ARE READY TO START THE COURSE

Important

1. The course access code provides you with access to the course for six months beginning from the time you register your course access code. Once registered, note the expiration date on the screen before proceeding with your course.
2. You are entitled to a refund if it is within fourteen days of the date of purchase.  If the course code is accessed within fourteen days of purchase, our cost for the code will be deducted from the refund amount (approximately $160.00 depending on the course).
3. If your course access expires, you can purchase an additional six months of access directly through your Connect login.
4. All course work must be completed before an exam can be scheduled. This includes all assignments, problems, quizzes, and assessments.

To access the course for the first time

1. Click on this link, McGraw Hill Connect. If you have any trouble starting your course, or have any questions, email instructor@consortiaaccountingschool.com, and we will assist you.
2. Enter your email address and click Continue.
3. Create an account by entering the required information and click Continue.
   

To access the course after registering

1. Go to connect.mheducation.com and sign in with your email address and password.
2. On the left bar click Menu, then Classes and select your course.  
   

Suggested Course Steps

1. Watch Connect Orientation Videos
2. Take Pre-assessment test
3. Watch chapter videos
4. Click Class Media under Resources
5. Read textbook chapter
6. Click the course title under Read
7. Complete chapter exercises, problems, and quiz
8. Repeat steps 3-5 for each chapter
9. Take post-assessment test
